Electrical and fire alarm requirements for various public areas of the barn have been identified. At its August meeting, the Commission approved a contract to Oak Electric, Inc. in the amount of $46,835, plus a 5% contingency of $2,342. Upon installation of the electrical, staff approved change orders of $2,865 for additional fixtures and alarm wiring.. Since March, 2008, we have been meeting regularly with Human Resources staff, specifically Kathy Shallal, Lori Motyka and April Bradshaw, to prepare this resolution utilizing the functional components of our strategic plan as a guide. >In preparing our reorganization, it was necessary to develop a number of new classifications. The Human Resources staff, directed by Nancy Scarlett, facilitated the Job Analysis Questionnaires, developed all job descriptions and determined the salary grades for each position. They worked tirelessly, including weekends, to complete this reorganization; and I want to extend my sincere appreciation and a special thank you to your fine staff, who went over and above the call of duty to complete this effort. According to ER staff, this was one of the largest reorganization projects they have worked on. >Recently Bob Riegal, Fiscal Services, was assigned to Parks and Recreation as our Fiscal Analyst. He was very effective in evaluating the financial impact of the reorganization and assisted us in meeting our financial goal. >It has been a pleasure to work with these dedicated individuals, and I wanted to convey my thanks to you and your staff for assisting us in this endeavor. >Sincerely, >Dan Stencil 21A-1 http://mira03. co. oakland.mi.us/wm/eml/read.html?sessionid=-377109143 &uid=3324&ms... 10/27/2008 I SCAMP X Special Cdrup for Special Vds!' We were able to get in 16 holes of golf before the clouds decided to break open and drench everyone. Your contribution to our event as a GIFT DONOR is greatly appreciated. The money raised is going to make _ summers of fun in the sun for many SCAMPers. SCAMP, a summer day camp for special needs youth and young adults allowed 300 "SCAMPers" the chance to enjoy six weeks of fun this year. Opportunities like this don't come easy for the families of the SCAMPers and we are so privileged to be able to provide this enriching experience with your help. Without the generosity of people like you the special needs youth of North Oakland County and Southern Genesee County would not be able to benefit from the SCAMP program.
