I was named chair of that ad hoc group for the purpose of communicating our three nominees. We appreciate the opportunity. Submitted herewith is my sincere interest is serving on the Oakland County Board of Canvassers. I would discharge the duties of this position on the Oakland County Board of Canvassers to the best of my ability. (b). My prior election experience includes but is not limited to: I have taken numerous pole challenging classes as well as Adjudication classes every election. For the last four elections I have worked at the TCF (Cobo Hall) Absentee Counting Board. For all four years my duties were on the Adjudication Computer. My partner and I made our official decision for a fair and legal vote. For the three elections prior to working at the TCF center I was a pole challenger at the TCF center. In this position as a pole challenger I became knowledgeable in the Absentee Ballot counting process from start to finish. Duties included but were not limited to: Checking the Tabulator counts at the beginning and end of the day Ensured pole workers had their Pole Book prior to the start of ballot counting Oversaw the duplication of ballots unable to be read by the tabulator as well as all Military ballots Oversaw the tabulator machines ensuring ballots were not counted more than once Observed the counting tables ensuring they properly processed and recorded the ballots Observed the vehicles brining ballots into the TCF center I served on the Election Integrity subcommittee for the Michigan Republican Party State Committee. I served on the Oakland County Board of Canvassers for a special election for Oakland County employees. (c). I have NOT been convicted of a felony or election crime. My goal is to restore confidence in our election system with the American People thru transparency free and fair elections. My efforts with this team of elec�on workers achieved balanced elec�on results in every instance. I have a reputa�on for detail, quality, and following the process as designed. You will let Oakland County know the days you would like to work. They are paying 18.00 an hour for inspectors and 21.00 an hour for Chairperson.They will start training the week of October 16th at Oakland County in Pontiac. You still will be working on election day here in Southfield at your Pct.The hours are 8:30am-4:30pm all the days except Thursday November 2 the time will be 12:00pm-8:00pm.And you still will be working in your pct. on election day.Thank you.
