MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSIONERS
CALL TO ORDER:
The Board of County Election Commissioners meeting was called to order by the Honorable Linda S.
Hallmark on March 7, 2024 at 10:03 a.m., in the Oakland County Elections Division, Allen Family
Conference Room, 1st floor, West Wing Extension, 1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Pontiac, MI 48341.
ROLL CALL:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Hallmark, Brown, Wittenberg. (3)
ABSENT: None. (0)
OTHERS PRESENT: Joseph J. Rozell, Director of Elections; Heather Kadulski, Elections Supervisor.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Moved by WITTENBERG seconded by BROWN to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Moved by HALLMARK seconded by WITTENBERG to approve the minutes of the January 29, 2024,
Board of County Election Commissioners Meeting. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
A. APPROVAL OF BALLOTS FOR THE MAY 7, 2024 SPECIAL ELECTION.
Discussion followed.
Judge Hallmark stated that sample ballots were submitted to the commissioners for approval.
The commissioners reviewed the ballots submitted for Commerce Township, Precinct 1, Highland
Township, Precinct 1 and Hazel Park, Precinct 1. Judge Hallmark asked for a motion to approve all ballots
for the May 7, 2024 Special Election.
Moved by HALLMARK seconded by BROWN that the ballots be approved.
VOTE ON APPROVAL OF BALLOTS: AYES: HALLMARK, BROWN, WITTENBERG. (3)
NAYS: NONE. (0)
The ballots were APPROVED.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
Moved by HALLMARK seconded by BROWN that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
Judge Hallmark adjourned the meeting at 10:08 a.m.
