NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners requests that the Michigan Legislature support an additional $7 million in funding for Michigan 2-1-1 in the FY 2025 state budget. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners requests a copy of this resolution be sent to the Governor of the State of Michigan, the State Senate Majority and Minority leaders, the State House Speaker and Minority leader, the members of the Oakland County delegation to the Michigan Legislature, the Board of Commissioners’ legislative lobbyist, the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and the Michigan Association of Counties.
