ITEM CATEGORY SPONSORED BY Resolution Penny Luebs INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND The Circuit Court employs an Adult Treatment Court (ATC) as an alternative to incarceration. The ATC receives grant funding from the State Court Administrative Office. New Juvenile Justice reforms require positions that were 50% supporting the ATC program to return to Juvenile Casework and be funded from The Child Care Fund - FND20293, CCN3010402. The Circuit Court has reviewed its operations and determined this could be done by returning the position of Community Service Coordinator to the ATC, an action that the Board approved March 14, 2024. The position of Community Service Coordinator will be fully funded by the ATC grant. The recreation of this position will allow for the positions of P00009712 Youth and Family Casework Supervisor, and P00010677 Technical Office Specialist to be moved from Adult Treatment Court Grant funding and returned to Juvenile Casework Services. The funding for these positions will be in FND20293- CCN3010402 and are expected to be reimbursed at 75% under In Home Care Programs.
