Board Chair to execute any required agreements on behalf of Oakland County. Additionally, require
that the recipient of the funds promote the County as a primary sponsor and provide an impact
report to the Board detailing the sponsorship outcomes, including the number of residents served.

I am writing on behalf of E-Community Outreach Services to request a grant of $15,000 from Oakland
County to support our 3rd Annual Family Appreciation Day. This event, which will be held on August
18th at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac, Michigan, aims to bring together families from across our
community for a day of fun, resources, and support.
Family Appreciation Day has grown significantly since its inception, with attendance increasing from
over 1500 participants last year to an anticipated 3500 this year. This growth reflects the critical need
for community-oriented events that provide families with a sense of belonging and access to valuable
resources. However, we are currently facing a funding shortfall of $15,000 due to the loss of a major
sponsor. This gap threatens our ability to deliver the high-quality event that our community deserves.
The total budget for the 3rd Annual Family Appreciation Day is $30,000. The requested funding from
Oakland County will be allocated as follows:
Activities and Entertainment: $13,000
Marketing and Promotion: $7,000
Supplies and Materials: $5,000
