He also was the Strategic Sourcing Manager for JetBlue Airways, Vice President of Vendor Relations for Morgan Stanley in New York City, the buyer of Indirect Materials for General Motors in Detroit, and Senior Buyer for K&S Services in Lincoln Park and an Account Executive at Campbell- Ewald in Warren. That experience in addition to extensive managerial skills and a wide variety of leadership roles in municipal organizations, such as the Michigan Municipal Services Authority, Michigan Public Purchasing Officers Association and the Greening of Detroit, helped him emerge as the top candidate for the Chief Procurement Officer position. Wagner’s wide array of knowledge and talent in both the public and private sector will serve Oakland County well as he takes on this new role.
