ITEM CATEGORY SPONSORED BY Resolution Gwen Markham INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND The Oakland County Parks & Recreation millage rate has been revised due to the November election. Attached is a revised copy of the Oakland County 2024 L4029, Authorization of Revised 2024 County Levies for General Operating, Parks & Recreation & Public Transportation for consideration at the November 13th Finance Committee meeting. Once approved by the Full Board (November 21st) and signed the form will be returned to Equalization for distribution to the local treasurers and Department of Treasury. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners does authorize execution of the Michigan Department of Treasury Form L-4029 – 2024 Tax Rate Request by signature of the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners.
