ITEM CATEGORY SPONSORED BY Contract Gwen Markham INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND The Court requests approval to extend the current Thomson Reuters Westlaw Legal Research (Proflex) contract for five (5) years with an option to cancel after three (3). There is no other vendor that sells this product as it is owned by Thomson Reuters. Approximately one hundred (100) staff at the Circuit Court, Probate Court, FOC, and the District Courts use this software for necessary legal research. We request a sole source exception to the bid process.
