This proposed millage authorizes new additional millage for the above-stated purpose. Approval of this proposal would permit a tax limitation increase of approximately 90 cents per $1,000 of taxable value on all taxable property in the Township. If approved and levied, it is estimated that this proposal would result in the authorization to collect $1,292,095.00 in the first year. It is estimated that 98.83% of the annual millage revenue would be disbursed to the Charter Township of Independence for police services and, as required by law, 1.17% would be disbursed to the Township's Sashabaw Road Corridor Improvement Authority. This proposed millage is a renewal of previously authorized millage for the above-stated purpose. Approval of this proposal would permit a tax limitation increase of approximately $2.05 per $1,000 of taxable value on all taxable property in the Township. If approved and levied, it is estimated that this proposal would result in the authorization to collect $2,965,338.00 in the first year. It is estimated that 98.83% of the annual millage revenue would be disbursed to the Charter Township of Independence for police services and, as required by law, 1.17% would be disbursed to the Township's Sashabaw Road Corridor Improvement Authority. This proposed millage is a renewal of previously authorized rnillage for the above-stated purpose. Approval of this proposal would renew a tax limitation increase of approximately 69 cents per $1,000 of taxable value on all taxable property in the Township. If approved and levied, it is estimated that this proposal would result in the authorization to collect $997,250.00 in the first year. It is estimated that 98.83% of the annual millage revenue would be disbursed to the Charter Township of Independence for the Library and, as required by law, 1.17% would be disbursed to the Township's Sashabaw Road Corridor Improvement Authority.
