Shall Brandon School District, Oakland and Lapeer Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to
exceed Thirty -Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars (B39.500.000) and issue its general
obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor. in one or more meriea, for the purpose of:
remodeling, including security improvements to, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re -
equipping school buildings; acquiring and installing instructional technology and instructional
technology equipment for school buildings; purchasing school buses; and developing and improving
athletic fields and facilities at*' sites?
The estimated rnUlaoethat will be levied for the proposed bonds hl3O2S under current law, ksDmill
($0.00 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a 0 mill net increase over the prior year's levy. The
maximum number of years the bonds of any series may be outstanding, exclusive of any refunding,
is eighteen (18) years. The estimated simple average annual miUege anticipated to be required to
retire this bond debt ie278mills ($278Vneach $1.00Omftaxable vo|usdion).
The school district expects bo borrow from the State School Bond Qualification and Loan Program to
pay debt service on these bonds. The estimated total principal amount of that borrowing is
$4.8O0.O75and the estimated total interest tobepaid thereon ie$7Q4.857. The estimated duration
ofthe miUogalevy associated with that borrowing ioGyears and the estimated computed noiUage
rate for such levy is 12.16 mills. The estimated computed mi||aOe rubs may change based on
changes incertain circumstances.
The total amount ofqualified bonds currently outstanding is $88.610.000, The total amount of
qualified loans currently outstanding is approximately $2,123,152.
