NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners hereby strongly supports Michigan Senate Bill 508 and formally condemns the unwarranted conduct of civil immigration enforcement activities in sensitive religious, civic, and healthcare locations. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners hereby strongly supports Michigan Senate Bill 509 and 510 and formally upholds the civil liberties, rights, and rule of law guaranteed to residents in the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Michigan.
