STATEMENT OF VOTES
The whole number of votes given for and against the
Proposition to Renew Millage to Provide Services for Senior Citizens
Shall the City of Pontiac continue to levy against the property in the City of Pontiac, County of
Oakland, State of Michigan, .4826 mill(s) (up to $.4826 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a
period of ten (10) years, (tax years 2027 through 2036) inclusive for the purpose of providing funds
for planning, coordinating, evaluating, providing, and maintaining services to persons 60 years of
age and older, including but not limited to maintenance of the senior centers? A portion of the
millage will be dispensed to the Tax Increment Financing Authority. It is estimated that $684,108 will
be collected in the first year that the millage is authorized to be renewed. If approved, this would be
a renewal of a previously authorized millage that is expiring at the end of 2026.

Oakland, State of Michigan, 1.4483 mill(s) (up to $1.4483 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation)
for a period of ten (10) years, (tax years 2027 through 2036) inclusive for the purpose of expending
funds for centers open exclusively to youths under 21 years of age and aimed at curbing juvenile
delinquency within the City of Pontiac, pursuant to Public Act 179 of 1967? It is estimated that
$2,053,032 will be collected in the first year that the millage is authorized to be renewed. If
approved, this would be a renewal of a previously authorized millage that is expiring at the end of
2026.

Library Millage Proposal
Shall the City of Pontiac, Oakland County, be authorized to levy a millage annually in an amount not
to exceed 1.4660 mills ($1.4660 per each $1,000 of taxable value), of which .9660 mill is a renewal
of the previously authorized millage rate that expires in 2026 and .50 mill is new additional millage,
against all taxable property in the City for a period of ten (10 Years, 2027 through 2036, inclusive, to
provide funds for operating, maintaining, constructing, and equipping the Pontiac Public Library and
for all other library purposes authorized by law? The estimate of the revenue the City will collect if
the millage is approved and levied in the first year of levy (2027) is approximately $2,046,000. By
law, a portion of the revenue from the millage may be subject to capture by the City of Pontiac
Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. The revenue from this millage levy will be disbursed to the
Pontiac Public Library.
