Road and Sewer Rehabilitation and Park Improvements Bond Proposal
Shall the City of Huntington Woods, Michigan, borrow the principal sum of not to exceed Seventeen
Million Dollars ($17,000,000), and issue its unlimited tax general obligation bonds, in one or more
series, payable in not to exceed twenty (20) years from the date of issue, to pay the cost of
acquiring and constructing road and sewer improvements, including storm and sanitary sewer
rehabilitation and replacement of existing sewer lines, together with water main improvements and
parks and recreation system equipment and improvements. The estimated millage to be levied in
2027 is 1.98 mills ($1.98 per $1,000 of taxable value) and the estimated simple average annual
millage rate required to retire the bonds is 1.91 mills ($1.91 per $1,000 of taxable value).
