STATEMENT OF VOTES
CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF WATERFORD
The whole number of votes given for and against the
Renewal and Increase to Restore Lost Millage Due to Headlee Rollbacks of Police Operating
Millage #2
Shall the existing authorized Police Operating Millage #2 within the Charter Township of Waterford
be restored to the original voter approved 1.50 mills, of which 1.3352 mills ($ 1.3352 per $1,000.00
of taxable value) is a renewal and .1648 mills ($.1648 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) is an increase
to restore lost millage due to Headlee rollbacks, upon real property and tangible personal property
within the Township of Waterford for the period of ten (10) years, 2026 through 2035 inclusive, with
the first levy in December of 2026 for use in 2027, said funds to be used to maintain the cost of
operation of the Police Department, and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said
purpose, thereby generating in the first year an estimated $5,091,512.31 (This millage is to renew
the millage that will expire and to restore millage lost as a result of the Headlee amendment)?
was Nineteen thousand four hundred sixty-one
of which number Eight thousand seven hundred eighty
votes were marked YES
and Ten thousand six hundred eighty-one
votes were marked NO

The whole number of votes given for and against the
Renewal and Increase to Restore Lost Millage, Due to Headlee Rollbacks of Fire Operating
Millage #1
Shall the existing authorized Fire Operating Millage #1 within the Charter Township of Waterford be
restored to the original voter approved 1.0000 mills, of which .8900 mills ($.8900 per $1,000.00 of
taxable value) is a renewal and .1100 mills ($.1100 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) is an increase to
restore lost millage due to Headlee rollbacks, upon real property and tangible personal property
within the Township of Waterford for the period of ten (10) years, 2026 through 2035 inclusive, with
the first levy in December of 2026 for use in 2027, said funds to be used for the cost of staffing,
maintenance and operation of the Fire Department for Waterford residents only, and shall the
Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby generating in the first year an
estimated $3,394,341.62 (This millage is to renew the millage that will expire and to restore millage
lost as a result of the Headlee amendment)?
