INVESTMENT SUB -COMMITTEE MINUTES
A meeting of the Oakland County Employees' Retirement and Deferred Compensation Board
Investment Sub -Committee was held on August 7, 2026, at 11:35 a.m. in Committee Room A at
the Board of Commissioners Building.
Call to Order/ Roll Call
Members Present: Joseph Rozell, James Van Leuven, Robert Wittenberg, Brian J. Lefler
Members Absent
With Notice: Dion Stevens
Others Present: Carly Webster, Human Resources
Kelly Pena, Human Resources
Aaron Castle, VMT Law
II. Approval of the Agenda
A. Moved by Wittenberg, seconded by Van Leuven to approve the agenda as
submitted. Motion carried.

VII. Unfinished Business
A. Aaron Castle of VMT Law reviewed with the Trustees the RFP Response Summary
for DC Consultants and the Resolution to Retain Graystone draft. Discussion was
had. Providing feedback to those companies not chosen was discussed, Aaron will
create a feedback letter and send them out on behalf of the board.
Motion by Van Leuven, seconded by Wittenberg, to recommend to the OCERS and
VEBA Board to retain Graystone Consulting as Investment Consultant for the
Oakland County Defined Contribution Retirement Plans as stated in the resolution to
retain Graystone.
VIII. Trustee Comment
A. Chairperson Rozell noted that the next Investment Subcommittee Board meeting
would be on September 23, 2026.
B. Chairperson Rozell adjourned the meeting without objection at 11:51 a.m.
