POLICE MILLAGE RENEWAL
Shall the Charter Township of Oakland be authorized to continue the previously authorized levy III
of 1.7646 mills for a period of six (6) years, starting with the December 2011 levy to be is I
disbursed to Oakland Township for the purpose of providing police services in the Township? mil
This proposed millage is a renewal of previously authorized millage for the above-stated
purpose. Approval of this proposal would renew the tax limitation increase of approximately
$1.76 per $1,000 of taxable value on all taxable property in the Township. It is estimated that 11111111111

Shall the Charter Township of Oakland be authorized to renew the previously authorized levy of
0.4971 mill ($0.4971 on each $1,000 of taxable value) on all taxable real and tangible personal
property in the Township for a period of twenty (20) years, 2010 to 2029 inclusive, for the Ili
purpose of providing public library services? It is estimated that this proposal would result in the
authorization to collect approximately $460000 in tax revenue in the first year, if approved and , EMI
