The whole number of votes given for and against the OAKLAND CHARTER TOWNSHIP LIBRARY MILLAGE
RENEWAL
Shall the Charter Township of Oakland be authorized to continue to levy up to 0.549 of one mill for a period of ten (10) years,
starting with the December 2000 levy for the purpose of continuing to provide free library services for the citizens of Oakland
Township? The funds generated by such millage would be administered by the elected Library Board. Approval of this proposal
would renew the tax limitation increase of approximately 54 per $1,000 of taxable value on all taxable property in the Township.
It is estimated that this proposal would renew the authorization to collect $377,634 in the first year if approved and levied.

safety paths and acquisition of rights-of-way for such purpose? Approval of this proposal would authorize a tax limitation increase
of 50¢ per $1,000 of taxable value on all taxable property in the Township. It is estimated that this proposal would result in the
authorization to collect $343,554 in the first year if approved and levied.
