The Parks and Recreation Commission and Township Board would retain reasonable regulatory control over such park areas, and make provision for public access to and enjoyment of such areas, where appropriate. was Five thousand three hundred and forty one of which number Four thousand ninety three votes were received and One thousand two hundred and forty eight TOTAL 5,341 110 The whole number of votes given for and against the OAKLAND CHARTER TVVP PROPOSAL FIRE DEPARTMENT MILLAGE RENEWAL Shall the Charter Township of Oakland be authorized to continue the previously authorized levy of .9235 of one mill, and be authorized to levy additional millage of .0765 of one mill to equal a total of one (1) mill, for a period of six years, starting with the December 2003 levy, for the purpose of providing funds for operating, maintaining and making capital improvements for and relating to the Fire Department and its' operations? This approval is a renewal of a previously authorized millage and authorizes a new additional millage for these purposes. Approval of this proposal would authorize a tax limitation increase renewal of $1.00 per $1,000 of the taxable value of all taxable property in the Township.
