Attached are the results of the canvass of the two local proposals (Older Persons'
Building Operating Millage Proposition and Older Persons' Building Bond Proposition)
appearing on the November 7, 2006 General Election ballot, as determined by the Local
Board of Canvassers at their meeting held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2006
at Orion Township Hall.

We, the duly appointed members of the Local Board of Canvassers for the Charter Township
of Orion, having ascertained and canvassed the votes for the Charter Township of Orion for
the General Election held Tuesday, November 7, 2006, do hereby certify the attached results
to be true and accurate:

OLDER PERSONS' BUILDING
BOND PROPOSITION
Shall the Charter Township of Orion, Oakland County, Michigan borrow an amount not to exceed Five
Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($5,950,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax
bonds therefore, in one or more series for the purpose of paying its share of the costs of acquiring and
improving land and acquiring, constructing, furnishing and equipping thereon a building to be operated
by an older persons' commission to be created by the Charter Township of Orion, the Charter Township
of Oxford and the Township of Addison? The maximum number of years the bonds may be outstanding,
exclusive of refunding, is 20 years; the estimated millage that will be levied to pay the proposed bonds in
the first year that the levy is authorized is .2185 mills (which is equal to $.2185 per $1 1000 of taxable
value of real and personal property in the Charter Township of Orion); and the estimated simple average
annual millage that will be required to retire the bonds is .2066 mills. The authorization in this proposition
shall not become effective unless and until the electors of the Charter Township of Oxford and Township
of Addison shall each approve similar propositions authorizing the Charter Township of Oxford and the
Township of Addison, respectively, to issue general obligation unlimited tax bonds to pay their respective
shares of such costs.

OLDER PERSONS' BUILDING
OPERATING MILLAGE PROPOSITION
Shall the charter township tax limitation upon the total amount of general ad valorem taxes
imposed upon real and tangible personal property for all purposes in any one year under
Michigan law be increased for the Charter Township of Orion, Oakland County, Michigan by .25
mills (which is equal to 25 cents per $1,000 of taxable value) of all such property for a period of
10 years, 2007 through 2016, inclusive, for the purpose of paying the Charter Township's share
of the costs of the operation and maintenance of an older persons' building and the costs of
related programs and activities? The proposed millage is a new additional millage. The amount
of revenue the Charter Township of Orion will collect if that millage is approved and levied by
the Charter Township in the first calendar year is estimated to be $468,094. A portion of the
revenue from the millage will be disbursed to the Orion Downtown Development Authority. The
amount of revenue from such millage to be disbursed to such authority in the first calendar year
of the levy is estimated to be $8,210.
