PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MILLAGE PROPOSAL
Shall the Charter Township of Waterford be authorized
to levy up to thirty-three hundredths (0.33) of one (1)
mill for a period of two (2) years, 1996 and 1997, for
the purpose of providing funds to be paid to or through
the Oakland County Transportation Authority for the
support of public transportation services in and or for
Waterford Township and its residents and businesses?
Approval of this proposal would authorize a tax
limitation increase of thirty-three cents ($ .33) per
one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars of taxable value of
all taxable property in Waterford Township. It is
estimated that approval of this proposal would result
in the authorization to collect approximately
$500,575.00 per year of the levy.
