BOARD OF CANVASSERS
August 12, 2002
The Board of Carivassen ul the Charter Township of White Lake, Oakland County, Michigan convened on Friday,
August 9, 2002 at 2.30 pm and on Monday, August 12, 2002 at 900 am to determine the results of the Primary
Elecrioo held on Tuesday, August 6, 2002.
Board members present were Chairperson Ferdinand C. Vetter (D), Shirley Wilfong (R), Joy Warren (R), and
Denise Rayburn (D).
All Board Members were given the Oath of Office by Deputy Clerk Sandra Vetter.
The Statement of votes were checked for completeness and accuracy and the following caors, if any, wt.fe noted.
Precinct 1 The totals tape count was 644 and the Applications to Vote count was 645, off by one (1). The
poll book remarks seotion indi ,catec1 a person had been entered twice in the poll book.
Precinct 2. The Statement of Votes sheet was missing so a copy was made of the ooe in the Clerk's envelope,
No errors.
Piecinct 3 Two inspectors did not sign the totals tape. No Errors.
Precinct 4 The totals tape count was 681 and the Applications to Vote count was 630, off by one (11 The
reason for the discrepancy is unknown. The poll book remarks section was not submitted
Precinct 5 The totals tape count was 704 and the Applications to Vote count was 705, ofrby one (1). The

Precinct 6 No errors.
Precinct 7 The totals tape count was 598 and the Applitiatious to Vote count was 596, off by two (2) The
reason for the di5Crcpowcy is unknown.

The votes ratruiated were checked and recorded in the Canvassers Book of Votes Cast, deterrtunation of persons
