Village of Leonard
February 21, 1994
John Verse received write-in votes for Trustee as follows:
Village Trustee - Democratic - 1 vote
Village Trustee - Republican - 5 votes
These votes nominated John Verse as both a Republican and
Democratic candidate for Trustee.
Per Mary Jo Hammond's telephone conversation with him on February
24, 1994, John declined the nomination as the Democratic candidate.
Tie vote for Treasurer between Mike McDonald and Janice Ferguson:
On February 24, 1994 a tie breaker drawing was held in the
Elections Division with Connie Cischke representing Mike McDonald
and Sandy Wagner representing Janice Ferguson. Mike McDonald won
the draw but declined the nomination, per telephone conversation on
February 25, 1994, with Mary Jo Hammond.
On February 25, 1994, Cindy Ashley, Clerk of the Village of
Leonard, notified the Elections Division office that Phyllis Roe,
a write in for Clerk and Charles Hamilton, a write in for Trustee,
both declined their nomination. David Edwards, a write in for
Trustee, accepted the nomination.
