Required millage rollbacks have reduced these tax rates, which fund police and administration of the Village and fire protection services, to their current levels of 2.7248 and .9586 respectively. If voters approve this "Headlee Override" and if the Village decides to levy the full amount of the restored tax rates, an estimate $374,277 in additional revenue will be raised in the first year of levy.
