STATEMENT OF VOTES CITY OF CLAWSON
MILLAGE PROPOSAL
Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed on taxable I -1"
property in the City of Clawson be increased by 4.2398 mills ($4.2398 per
thousand dollars of taxable value) for a period of ten (10) years, from 2012 I
through 2021, as new additional millage in excess of the limitation imposed by 1
Michigan Compiled Laws section 211.34d, to restore City Charter nnillage
authorization previously approved by the electors as reduced by operation of the 'H -1-
Headlee amendment, to provide funds for general operating purposes, I
consisting of police, fire, public works, operations and continuation of existing
services? It is estimated that 4.2398 mills would raise approximately
$1,310,000 when first levied in 2012.

Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Canvassers of the City of Clawson,
County of Oakland, Michigan held in the Municipal Building, 425 N. Main Street,
Clawson, MI on Wednesday, the twenty ninth day of February, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
PRESENT: J. Boggio, J. Kurkowski and R. Dylewski
ABSENT: None
Also present was Machele Kukuk, City Clerk.
MOTION BY: J. Boggio
SUPPORTED BY: J. Kurkowski
RESOLVED, that Member R. Dylewski be appointed Chairman and
Member J. Kurkowski be appointed Vice Chairman.
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY:
The City Clerk presented to the Board of Canvassers the unofficial returns
of the Election Inspectors as to the votes cast in said Presidential Primary/
Special City Election held in the City of Clawson on Tuesday, the 28 th day of
February, 2012.
City Clerk Kukuk handed out copies of the unofficial returns of the Election
Inspectors — February 28, 2012 — Presidential Primary/Special City Election to
the board members.
City Clerk Kukuk explained that the election ran well. Out of 654
Absentee Ballots issued 631 Absentee Ballots were returned.
The Board proceeded to canvass said returns.
The following prea m b le and resolution was nfrimri.r1 by Member PrIggir,
and seconded by Member R. Dylewski:
WHEREAS, at a Presidential Primary/Special City Election duly called and
held in the City of Clawson, County of Oakland, Michigan on Tuesday, the 28 th
day of February, 2012 and between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 8:00
o'clock p.m., the candidates for City Offices hereinafter set forth were submitted;
and
WHEREAS, returns from the voting precincts at said election have been
filed with the Clerk and have been presented to and examined by the Board of
Canvassers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Board of Canvassers hereby determines that the votes cast at said
Election held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 for The Millage Proposal for the
City of Clawson, were as follows:
