NOVEMBER 15, 2016 – Regular – 7:00 a.m. APPROVED: The October 4, 2016 Special Township Board of Trustees Meeting minutes,
the October 11, 2016 Regular Township Board Meeting minutes, and the
October 25, 2016 Quarterly Township Board of Trustee Meeting minutes, as submitted. APPROVED: The Resolution honoring Tom Zoner for 42 years of dedicated service to Commerce Township
and its residents. APPROVED: The November 15,2016 Agenda with the addition of Touchstone Architecture Contract Extension under Item 13. J New Business.
ADOPTED: The Charter Township of Commerce Resolution approving the 2017 Community
Development Block Grant Application Adopted on November 15, 2016. APPROVED: The Resolution of the Township Board of the Charter Township of Commerce
Determining to Undertake an Improvement Project and to Establish and Maintain
a Special Assessment District to pay costs associated therewith and approving the plans and estimates of costs therefore, Special Projects No. 40.
APPROVED: The re-appointment of James Czarnecki to the Planning Commission for a 3 year term to expire December 31, 2019. APPROVED: The re-appointment of Arlene DiPaola, Robert McGee, Barbara McNutt, Larry Pawlovich,
Barbara Rosman and Pat Rusnell to the Board of Review for a 2 year term to expire December 31, 2018.
TABLED: The Appointment of Michelle McNutt-Memelli to the Board of Review. APPROVED: To Amend the Motion for the extension of the Engineering Consulting Agreement with Giffels Webster to a 2 year extension until 12-31-2018 at the same rates.
APPROVED: To extend the current contract with KER Engineering Inc. to 3-31-2017. APPROVED: The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office 2017-2018 Law Enforcement Services Agreement. APPROVED: The purchase of two self-checkout systems from Envisionware (Quote US-38104 dated 10/24/2016).
APPROVED: The 2017 Township Budget. REMOVED: Approval of Single Year Special Assessments for 2016 Tax Roll from the Table.
APPROVED: Single Year Special Assessments for 2016 Tax Roll.
CHANGED: The Fee Ordinance and direct the Township Attorney to draft an amendment to the Fee Ordinance
for the UFS Water Rate Study. APPROVED: The architectural design for the Richardson Senior Center, as presented by Partners in Architecture. TABLED: B. Conditional Rezoning - K&S Fuel Ventures, Clark Gas Station, F. Review Standards for Off Premises Alcohol Retailers and G. Discussion on Gas Stations. APPROVED: The waiver of Tax Penalty for parcels EW-17-27-329-00 and EW-17-27-329-898,
Christopher Truesdell. APPROVED: The Tri-Party Funds, Farr Street from North Commerce Road to 150 feet East
(Pave Gravel) and Oakley Park Road at Newton (right turn lane), as presented. APPROVED: Monies from the amended budget to stop the spread of the Oak Wilt in Maple Glen Park. APPROVED: The First Amended & Restated Conditional Rezoning Agreement between the
Charter Township of Commerce and Patrick McInnis and authorize the appropriate signatures. APPROVED: To change the deadline date from 11-30-2016 to 2-24-2017 for the Touchstone Architecture Contract Extension.
APPROVED: The Orders and Add-ons. ACCEPTED: Tom Zoner’s resignation from the Library Advisory Board, Trailway Management Council,
DDA, and WOCCA effective November 15, 2016.
APPROVED: To appoint Dave Scott to represent Commerce Township on the Trailway Management Council. APPROVED: To direct the Township Clerk to advertise for a Fire Chief and begin the interview process.
APPROVED: Adjournment.

On December 8, 2016 the Board of Commissioners for Oakland County entered into an agreement per MR #16339 – 2017-
2018 Law Enforcement Services Agreement with the Charter Township of Commerce.
As required by Urban Cooperation Act 7 of 1967 - MCL 124.510(4), a copy of the signed agreement with the County of Oakland and the Charter Township of Commerce, and the authorizing Board of Commissioners Resolution are enclosed
for filing by your office.
