WHEREAS the Probate Court is mandated by Probate Court Rule 707 to report on the statu ,,,

WHEREAS the. Judicial Data Center Probate Batch System provides 4 variety of reoorts to
assist the judicial, administration and clerical personnel of Probate Court in the discharge of
their duties mandated by Probate Court Rule 707; and
WHEREAS these :,(,,,rvices aere previously provided at no cost to the County; and
WHEREAS Judicial Data Center has begun billing the Court for these services; and
WHEREAS funding is not available in the 1981 Btiricet for these services; and
WHEREAS Oakland County's Computer Services Department has conducted a feosibiity -tad'
tor providing said services, and has determined that conversion at this time is not cost benefic;a1;
and
WHEREAS it is anticipated the cost for the Judicial Data Center services for 1981 will
be $7,500.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Rule XI-C of this Board, the Finance
Committec finds $7,500 necessary to fund the Judicial Data Center Project costs for the Prabat ,,
Court.

WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolution '18145, requires the
Li3iSOP Committee to review 011 grants that vary more. than 10?* From as applied For; and
WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners authorized application for the eighth year 31
the Coopeeative Redmburserent Grant-Prosecutor's Office, by Miscellaneous Resolution #9642; and
WHEREAS the State has approved a six month grant in the amount of $231 ,7/43 or C730,892
(500 less than applied for due primarily to shortening of the time period; and
WHEREAS it is tbe intention of the State to review this grant at the end oF s a months
subject to satisfactory performance; and
WHEREAS the Serv;ces Committee has reviewed said grant and finds the pro iii
content and purpose remain unchang.-d.
NOW THERIFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners accept the
