Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bosnic, Crawford, Dwyer, Gingell, Gosselin, Hoffman, Matis, Middleton, Nuccio, Potts, Runestad, Scott, Taub, Weipert. (14) ABSENT: Long. (1) Quorum present. State Representative Chuck Moss addressed the Caucus during public comment. Moved by Middleton supported by Bosnic the minutes of the March 24, 2011 Republican Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. The members of the Republican Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. Commissioner Middleton addressed the Caucus stating that the Finance Committee has no items to report on Regular Agenda. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding General Government item d. on the Regular Agenda, entitled Oakland County Apportionment Appropriation; and Commissioner Long will refer this item to the Finance Committee. Commissioner Scott addressed the Caucus stating that the Human Resources Committee has no items to report on the Regular Agenda. Commissioner Potts addressed the Caucus regarding Planning and Building item g. on the Regular Agenda, entitled Department of Facilities Management – Approval and Acceptance of Purchase Agreement for Sale of West Oakland Building, 1010 E. West Maple Road, Walled Lake, Michigan. Discussion followed with comments by: Health and Human Services Director, George Miller and Deputy County Executive, Phil Bertolini. Commissioner Potts addressed the Caucus to state that he would be referring Planning and Building item h. on the Regular Agenda, entitled Water Resources Commissioner – FY 2011 – 2014 Budget Task to the Human Resources Committee and the Finance Committee. Republican Caucus Minutes Continued. April 21, 2011 173 Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding suspending the rules on a proposed Miscellaneous Resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Observance of the Days of Holocaust Remembrance in Oakland County – May 1 through May 8, 2011. Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus regarding medical marijuana. Discussion followed with comment by: Deputy Executive Director, Gerald Poisson. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding sign-up for the May 12, 2011 tour. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding a proposed Miscellaneous Resolution that will be introduced by: Democratic Commissioner Jackson entitled Board of Commissioners – Declaration of May 25, 2011 as National Missing Child Day in Oakland County. Commissioner Crawford addressed the Caucus regarding her upcoming absence May 10 – May 13, and inquired about the proper protocol. Discussion followed. Commissioner Gosselin addressed the Caucus to inform them that the Enbridge contribution is going to Parks and Recreation. Discussion followed. Commissioner Weipert addressed the Caucus to introduce David Murphy and Bob Martin from the City of South Lyon, whom he is going to be presenting a proclamation to during the Board Meeting.
