BE IT RESOLVED that the statement of basic functions of the Cooperative Extension Service
Committee, as set forth in Section 5, Rule XII of the By-Laws of this Board, be revised to read as
follows:
COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE
To provide liaison between the C,o-JJrative Ext(o Serv 'ichigan State University
and the Board of Supervisors. To onlJle and encoaia ,o - Joe - mta.aal programs of the
Extension Service to gain major t.e6aLts for the p-Jale of Oa] and County. To have
general supervision and control oi rue Oakland County 4-H activities. To assist in
coordinating the efforts of the stae or federal government designed to aid the agri-
cultural interests of the County and in the conservation of natural resources.

Peter T. Brewer, a former member of this Board, passed away at the age
1964 at his home in Addison Township.
He served as Township Treasurer from 1921 to 1923, was
