The Clerk presented the notice of this meeting together with his affidavit as to the mailing of said notice, which notice and affidavit are as follows: NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING To the Members of the Beard of Supervisors of the County of Oakland, State of Michigan NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Oakland, State of Michigan, will be held at the time and place stated in the following request which has been filed with me, to-wit: "A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Oakland, State of Michigan is hereby called to be held on Tuesday, the 15th day of December 1964 at 0:i0 o'clock A. M., EST, in the Court House Auditorium, 1200. North Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan, for the purpose of transacting such business as may come before the Hoard at that time. Amendments to the Drain Code, Ac: Ni, 40, Punlic Acts of 1956, as amended, to simplify the petitioning procedure for the construction of branches of drains, to provide that municipal corporations may petition for intra or inter-county - drain cloanouts; and to provide for Drainage Boards to tale control of existing stroams through. proper petition. Also an amendment to the Drain Code to provide that assessments made on account of drainage benefits to county roads bo paid out or county road commission funds rather than the county general fund. An amendment to the State Welfare Act providing that hospitalization costs for afflicted adults be included in the state matching funds. Fnrther, an amendment which would provide that the state would match direct welfare, including administrative and medical care facilities costs, on a 50/50 basis until such time as the county has expended 1 mill, based on state equalized valuation, and then the state would assume the entire cost of direct relief. Mr, Richardson resided at 2520 Litchfield, ',Waterford Township, had been a farmer, and served as Treasurer in 1915 and 1916 and Supervisor of Waterford Township from 1.91 to 1921. Prior to that time, he served as highway Connissiobo for one term in White Lake Township. i. wa.; a. member of the Oakland Avenue United Presbyterian Church. 'Tht Ailing are Iris wife "label, three daughters, Mrs. Guy Caswell of Pontiac, Mrs. Lawrence Giddings aul Mrs. Gertrude Moore, both of Waterford Township, and two sons, Carlos and George F. both of Waterford Township. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Dan Kinney of Pontiac. George H.
