ending December 31, 1967.

To the Oakland County Board. of Supervisors
MT. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS this Board, by Miscellaneous Resolution No, 3860, dated October 2, 1961 provided
that new lake level projects other than Takes set forth in Resolution No $860 be started by petition
by- interest of i,iop,rty owners, and
WHP.fS Miscellaneous Resolution No. 3860 further provides that in the interest of public
welfare and in • new lake level projects may he instituted by resolution of this Board, and
water level in Orchard Lake is extremely low and has created a safety problem
for uses of tie Lake and has devaluated the property values developed around said lake, and
WHEi,S your Committee feels necessity dictates the establishment of a normal lake level
for the protection of the public welfare,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVE-f.
1. That this Board for the iroi ,.-- ii of the safety' and to preserve the natural resources
of the state and protect the values 01 s,ound the lake, deems it expedient to determine and
establish the normal height and level Lake in the City- of Orchard lake Village, lying
entirety in the Township of West Bloomfie ., 1, Oakland County, Michigan, pursuant to Act 146 of the
