Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bosnic, Crawford, Dwyer, Gingell, Gosselin, Hoffman, Long, Matis, Middleton, Runestad, Scott, Spisz, Taub, Weipert. (14) EXCUSED ABSENCE WITH NOTICE: None. (0) Quorum present. Moved by Spisz supported by Crawford the minutes of the August 20, 2014 Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus and stated that the budget hearing will take place at the next Board of Commissioners meeting on September 18, 2014, and the Board will vote on the budget at that meeting. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Phil Bertolini, Deputy County Executive. Phil Bertolini, Deputy County Executive addressed the Caucus to give a presentation on the (CySAFE) Cyber Security Assessment for Everyone tool and to circulate literature. Discussion followed. Phil Bertolini, Deputy County Executive addressed the Caucus to introduce Chris Burrows, Chief Information Security Officer. Discussion followed. Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus and inquired about a possible summit taking place to introduce (CySAFE) Cyber Security Assessment for Everyone to the communities and requested the details of the ISO 27001 security framework. Discussion followed. Commissioner Spisz addressed the Caucus regarding the costs associated with the implementation of (CySAFE) Cyber Security Assessment for Everyone to the communities. Discussion followed. 448 Republican Caucus Minutes Continued. September 4, 2014 Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus regarding an outsourcing opportunity for the local communities. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Gerald Poisson, Deputy County Executive. Gerald Poisson, Deputy County Executive addressed the Caucus to give an update on the City of Detroit’s bankruptcy proceedings. Discussion followed. The members of the Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding Planning and Building Committee item e.: entitled MR #14169 – Board of Commissioners – Initiate Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program Countywide to Assist Oakland County Businesses and Green Investment and stated that the commissioners will appoint a study group, made up of two majority members and two minority members. Commissioner Spisz and Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub volunteered for the appointment. Discussion followed. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus and stated that the Reorganizational Caucus meeting will be held at White Lake Oaks on November 18, 2014 at 6:00 pm. Caucus Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Commissioner Matis. Commissioner Matis addressed the Caucus to introduce a proposed Miscellaneous Resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Designating September 11 – 17, 2014, as Michigan Patriot Week in Oakland County and stated he will be requesting suspension of the Board Rules for immediate consideration.
