Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Crawford, Dwyer, Gingell, Gosselin, Hoffman, Kowall, Long, Matis, Middleton, Scott, Spisz, Taub, Weipert. (13) EXCUSED ABSENCE WITH NOTICE: Fleming. (1) Quorum present. No one addressed the Caucus during Public Comment. Moved by Spisz supported by Gosselin the minutes of the April 2, 2015 Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. The members of the Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. David Hieber, Manager of Equalization, addressed the Caucus regarding Finance Committee item c.: entitled Department of Management and Budget – 2015 Equalization Report on the Consent Agenda. He also stated that he would circulate copies of the Report to the Board of Commissioners. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus and stated that she will amend the Agenda to remove a Communication as follows: PRESENTATION: State of the Probate Court – Chief Probate Judge Pezzetti. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Commissioner Middleton. Commissioner Middleton addressed the Caucus regarding Finance Committee item d.: entitled MR #15091 – Information Technology Department – Workstation Services Unit Position Changes on the Regular Agenda. Discussion followed. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding General Government Committee item e.: entitled Board of Commissioners – County Executive Appointment – Director of Human Resources on the Regular Agenda; and introduced Jordie Kramer, Director of Human Resources. April 23, 2015 Commissioner Weipert addressed the Caucus and stated that Planning and Building Committee item c.: entitled Department of Economic Development and Community Affairs – One Stop Shop Business Center Monitor Wall; and item d.: entitled Department of Economic Development and Community Affairs – EDCA Marketing Floor Plan Move on the Regular Agenda will be referred to the Finance Committee. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Commissioner Dwyer. Commissioner Dwyer addressed the Caucus and stated that Public Service Committee item b.: entitled Sheriff’s Office – Authorization for Sale of Recovered and Stolen Property in Spring Auction; and item c.: entitled Sheriff’s Office – Contract for Auxiliary Deputy Services in the City of Orchard Lake 2015 on the Regular Agenda will be referred to the Finance Committee. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Gerald Poisson, Deputy County Executive. Gerald Poisson, Deputy County Executive, addressed the Caucus to give an update on the Great Lakes Water Authority. Discussion followed. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Commissioner Kowall. Commissioner Kowall addressed the Caucus regarding a Kentucky Derby event held at the Hazel Park Raceway on May 2, 2015 at 5:00p.m. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Commissioner Gingell. Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus regarding the Caucus Breakfast Fundraiser event on May 1, 2015. Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus regarding the Oakland County Community Mental Health Appointment and stated that he will follow-up with Willie Brooks, Executive Director, Oakland County Community Mental Health. Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus regarding Revenue Sharing with the State of Michigan. He also discussed the Parks and Recreation Board Policy changes. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus to introduce Bob Daddow, Deputy County Executive. Bob Daddow, Deputy County Executive addressed the Caucus regarding Oakland County E 911 Surcharge Rate increase request for July 1, 2015. Discussion followed. Chairperson Shelley Taub addressed the Caucus regarding a proposed Miscellaneous Resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Audit of Collection and Remittance of Emergency 911 Fees by Communication Service Providers. Discussion followed. Commissioner Gingell addressed the Caucus to introduce George Miller, Director of Health & Human Services, Veronica McNally and Kathleen Forzley, Manager of Health Division. April 23, 2015 Phil Bertolini, Deputy County Executive addressed the Caucus to provide an update on a WDIV story involving the use of County vehicles.
