Williams Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Amos, Buckley, Colasanti, Dingeldey, Douglas, Galloway, Garfield, Jensen, Law, McCulloch, Millard, Moffitt, Obrecht, Palmer, Patterson, Sever, Taub, (17) ABSENT: Schmid. (1) Quorum present. COMMISSIONERS-ELECT PRESENT: Bill Brian, Chuck Moss, Hugh Crawford, and Peter Webster. Caucus Chairperson Terry Sever recognized the following Commissioners who will not be returning to office: Ron Colasanti, Kay Schmid, Donald Jensen & John McCulloch. Moved by Obrecht supported by Douglas the Caucus Rules be amended. Discussion followed. (16) NAYS: Garfield, Moffitt. (2) As a result of the Republican vote, the Caucus Rules as amended were adopted. Moved by Taub supported by Garfield a unanimous vote be cast to elect Terry Sever as Caucus Chairperson. As a result of the Republican voice vote, Terry Sever was unanimously elected Chairperson of the Republican Caucus. Moved by Palmer supported by Garfield a unanimous vote be cast to elect David Buckley as Caucus Vice Chairperson. As a result of the Republican voice vote, David Buckley was unanimously elected Vice Chairperson of the Republican Caucus. Moved by Douglas supported by Taub a recommendation that Board Rules be amended to show the General Government Committee not the Finance Committee be the liaison for Information Technology. Caucus Chairperson stated that Jeff Pardee and Tom Quisenberry would serve as Tellers for the balloting process. There was a brief recess while votes were tallied. As a result of the Republican secret ballot, totals are as follows: Thomas Law (5) Frank Millard (10) Chuck Palmer (3) Moved by Taub supported by Dingeldey, a unanimous vote be cast for Millard for Chairperson. NAYS: Garfield, Law. (2) As a result of the Republican voice vote, Frank Millard was selected Board Chairperson. The nominees for Board Vice Chairperson were Fran Amos and Thomas Law. The nominee for Chairperson of the Personnel Committee was Thomas Law. Moved by Dingeldey supported by Douglas a unanimous vote be cast. As a result of the Republican voice vote, Thomas Law was unanimously selected Chairperson of the Personnel Committee. As a result of the Republican voice vote, Peter Webster was unanimously selected Vice Chairperson of the Planning and Building Committee. The nominees for Vice Chairperson of the Public Services Committee were David Galloway and Hugh Crawford. David Galloway withdrew his nomination. The nominee for member of the Building Authority was James VanLeuven. Moved by Moffitt supported by Taub a unanimous vote be cast. As a result of the Republican voice vote, James VanLeuven was unanimously selected member of the Building Authority. The nominees for members of the Election Scheduling Committee were Sandra Abrams, Sherrie English and Kathryn Dornan. December 4, 2000 As a result of the Republican votes cast, Shelley Taub was selected member of the Parks and Recreation Commission. The nominees for members of the Southeast Michigan Council of Government (SEMCOG) were L Brooks Patterson (with Dave Vanderveen as his alternate), Nancy Dingeldey, David Moffitt, Chuck Moss, Eric Coleman and Rule McPherson, Moved by Moffitt supported by Law a unanimous vote be cast. As a result of the Republican voice vote, L Brooks Patterson (with Dave Vanderveen as his alternate), Nancy Dingeldey, David Moffitt, Chuck Moss, Eric Coleman and Rule McPherson were selected as members of the Southeast Michigan Council of Government (SEMCOG). Republican Caucus Chairperson stated the five alternate positions for (SEMCOG) will be discussed at the next Republican Caucus. Republican Caucus Chairperson stated C.
