Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bullard, Crawford, Douglas, Gosselin, Jacobsen, Kowall, Long, Middleton, Potter, Potts, Scott. (11) EXCUSED ABSENCE WITH NOTICE: Gingell, Rogers. (2) Quorum present. Moved by Crawford supported by Long the minutes of the August 2, 2007 Republican Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. Chairperson Kowall welcomed Congressman Thaddeus McCotter who addressed the Republican Caucus, answered questions, and addressed concerns from Republican Commissioners. There was no public comment. The members of the Republican Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. Commissioner Kowall introduced a resolution in Opposition to Michigan House Bill 4852 Amending the Emergency Telephone Services Enabling Act. Commissioner Bullard introduced a resolution in Support for State Appropriation for the Detroit Zoo. Democratic Commissioner Woodward introduced a resolution regarding the Oakland County Sudan Divestment Policy. Commissioner Jacobsen introduced a resolution for National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. Richard Skarritt of the Oakland County Road Commission addressed the members of the Republican Caucus. Commissioner Potter introduced his wife’s nephew Lonn Adams from Orange County, California.
