Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bullard, Douglas, Gingell, Gosselin, Jacobsen, Kowall, Long, Middleton, Potts, Rogers, Scott. (11) EXCUSED ABSENCE WITH NOTICE: Clark, Crawford, Potter. (3) Quorum present. Moved by Gosselin supported by Jacobsen the minutes of the August 21, 2008 Republican Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. Eric Wilson addressed the Republican Caucus during public comment. The members of the Republican Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. Commissioner Bradford Jacobsen introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Establish Oakland County Seniors Study Group. Democratic Commissioner Dave Woodward introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Declaration of September 21 – 27, 2008 as Michigan Nonprofit Week in Oakland County. Commissioner Sue Ann Douglas addressed the Caucus regarding the Proclamations scheduled for the regular Board meeting. Republican Caucus Chairperson Eileen Kowall recognized Jeanne Blake, candidate for County Commissioner District 17. Undersheriff Michael McCabe addressed the Republican Caucus. Nancy Scarlet, Director of Human Resources, addressed the Republican Caucus regarding the publication of the Telegraph, the OakFit Program, and the Wellness Fair on September 12, 2008. Democratic Commissioner Tim Greimel introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Support for the Establishment of an Oakland University Nursing School at the Site of POH Regional Medical Center.
