Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bullard, Crawford, Gingell, Gosselin, Jacobsen, Kowall, Long, Middleton, Potter, Potts, Rogers, Scott. (12) EXCUSED ABSENCE WITH NOTICE: Clark, Douglas. (2) Quorum present. Moved by Gosselin supported by Potter the minutes of the September 18, 2008 Republican Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. There was no public comment. Commissioner Gosselin introduced Maria Carl and a group of home-schooled students from Macomb and Oakland Counties. Chairperson Eileen Kowall welcomed Jeanne Blake, candidate for County Commissioner District #17. The members of the Republican Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. Democratic Commissioner Tim Greimel introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Support for One D: Transforming Regional Detroit. Chairperson Eileen Kowall and Commissioner Bill Bullard, Jr. consulted with Deputy Clerk/Register of Deeds Jim VanLeuven regarding postponement of a resolution according to Roberts Rules.
