Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Roll called. REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bullard, Capello, Douglas, Gingell, Gosselin, Jacobsen, Long, Middleton, Potter, Potts, Runestad, Scott, Taub. (13) EXCUSED ABSENCE WITH NOTICE: None. (0) Quorum present. Moved by Gosselin supported by Gingell the minutes of the June 11, 2009 Republican Caucus be approved. A sufficient majority having voted in favor, the minutes were approved. There was no public comment. The members of the Republican Caucus discussed the Board Agenda. Commissioner Scott introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Recognizing National Recreation and Parks Month in Oakland County. Democratic Commissioner Woodward introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Expansion of Authorized Depositories for Public Funds. Democratic Commissioner Nash introduced five proposed resolutions entitled Board of Commissioners – Support of EcoDrivingUSA; Board of Commissioners – A Resolution to Encourage Sharing of Data and Results of Baseline Energy Audits and Best Practices; Board of Commissioners – A Resolution to Encourage Building Energy Savings Policies and Employee Training to Reduce Energy Usage; Board of Commissioners – A Resolution Supporting the Regional Partnership for Sustainability’s Endorsement of the Grand Rapids Community Sustainability Partners Agreement and Board of Commissioners – A Resolution to Encourage Low/No Cost Energy Conservation Measures for Local Government Buildings. Democratic Commissioner McGillivray introduced a proposed resolution entitled Board of Commissioners – Support for House Bills 4785 & 4786 to Provide Unemployment Benefits. Republican Caucus Chairperson Bradford Jacobsen recognized Jim Ryan, Public Affairs Associates, Inc. (PAA), who was in attendance and the new Deputy County Clerk/Register of Deeds Chris Ward.
