HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - 1975.09.18 - 8522ORDINANCE NO. 15 — COUNTY or OAKLAND, MICHIGAN AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 3, c) OF ORDINANCE NO. 13 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS on March 20, 1975, by Miscellaneous Resolution /6985, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners established an Ordinance to provide far on Unemployment Compensation System; td WHEREAS the Person-el Committee recommends that Section 3, c) of that Ordinance be amended to read as follows: "Section 3. c. Montante September 13, 1975 IN RE: SPECIAL CONTROL OF CA5S LAKE OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN — TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. C.hairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the provisions of Act 303 of the Pub Acts of 1 967, as amended, permits a County 1-o adopt an Ordinance for the control of la'xes and waterways within the County; and WHEREAS the Departrnent of Natural Resources recommends that certain controls be established on Cass Lake, Oakland County, Michigan; and WHEREAS it would be in the bast interests of the abutting property owners and others who use the lake that an Ordinance for the control cf Cass Lake in Oakland County, Michigan be. adopted; THEREFORE, THE COUNTY CF OAKLAND ORDAINS: An Ordinance to provide for Special Control of high speed boating and water skiing on Cuss Lake, a ake within Oakland County, Michigan. Section 1, On the waters of Cass Lok.e, Ookiand County, Michigan, it is unlawful: (a) Between the hours of 9:0'0 P.M. and 630 A.M. of the following day to operate a vessel at high speed or hove in tow al otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water s 'ad, 'kite, surfboard, cr similar contrivance.
