Patterson, Chairperson IN RE: BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS - APPOINTMENT TO THE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH AUTHORITY BOARD To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: The General Government Committee hereby recommends that Frank Tyndell be appointed to the Community Mental Health Authority Board, for a three-year term ending March 31, 2005. Chairperson, on behalf of the General Government Committee, I move the acceptance of the foregoing report. GENERAL GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE Copy of Oakland County Board of Commissioners Application Form for Appointment to Boards, Committees, and Commissions on file in County Clerk’s office. Report May 2, 2002 Moved by Patterson supported by Appel the General Government Committee Report be accepted and the appointment of Frank Tyndell to the Community Mental Health Authority Board, for a three-year term ending March 31, 2005 be confirmed. A sufficient majority having voted therefore, the report was accepted. Discussion followed. Moved by Obrecht to call the question to stop the debate. Vote on motion: AYES: Dingeldey, Middleton, Moffitt, Moss, Obrecht, Palmer, Patterson, Taub, Amos, Buckley. (10) NAYS: Coleman, Crawford, Douglas, Garfield, Gregory, Law, McPherson, Melton, Suarez, Sever, Webster, Appel, Brian, Causey-Mitchell. (14) A sufficient majority not having voted therefore, the motion failed. Discussion followed. Moved by Moffitt supported by Obrecht Jerry Ellis be nominated to serve on the Community Mental Health Authority Board. Moved by Patterson supported by Garfield Frank Tyndell be nominated to serve on the Community Mental Health Authority Board.
