HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 2009.12.09 - 9727MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION 109291 December 9, 2009 BY: GENERAL GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE, Christine Long, Chairperson IN RE: Board of Commissioners — Approval of Fifty-Second District Court Magistrate Nicolas Camargo To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners has provided for magistrates for the Fifty-Second District Court; and WHEREAS the Judges of the Fifty-Second District Court have appointed Nicolas Camargo to serve as a magistrate for the Fifty-Second District Court; and WHEREAS MCL 600.8501(1) provides that magistrate appointments are to be approved by the County Board of Commissioners, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners hereby approves the appointment of Nicolas Camargo to act as a magistrate for the Fifty-Second District Court. Chairperson, on behalf of the General Government Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
